Today, the co-Chairmen of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Commission - Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Mehrdad Bazrpash had a telephone conversation, APA reports.
The projects on the agenda of the Joint Commission were discussed in the phone conversation.
Opinions were exchanged on issues related to the North-South International Transport Corridor and the development of economic relations between the Azerbaijan and Iran.
Mehrdad Bazrpash expressed his hope that the North-South International Transport Corridor will be completed and realized in the fastest way.
Shahin Mustafayev noted the need to develop economic cooperation between the two countries and congratulated the Iranian minister on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
