“Businessmen from Kars will visit Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region tomorrow,” said Zamin Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Türkiye’s Kars province, at the “2nd Azerbaijan–Türkiye Regional Economic Forum” held in Nakhchivan, APA reports.
The consul said that in June, businessmen from Iğdır also visited Karabakh: “I hope that this process can also be continued in the provinces of Ardahan, Erzurum and Ağrı.”
It was noted that the Azerbaijan–Türkiye border via Nakhchivan should be used at full capacity, and therefore trade agreements and border trade opportunities in these regions should be increased: “The expansion of trade relations between Türkiye’s Kars, Ardahan, Erzurum and Ağrı cities and Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan, Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions should be among the permanent organizational matters of our businessmen.”
