"British company participates in the development of the Master Plan of the Shusha city", said the head of the Friendship Group with Azerbaijan in the House of Commons of the British Parliament Bob Blackman who is on a visit to Azerbaijan at the press conference held today, APA reports.

Bob Blackman said that Great Britain already freely builds global economic policy: "After the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union, we build our economic relations freely outside the Brussels. British-Azerbaijani relations will further develop".

Lord Con Kilkloni noted that about 600 British companies have invested in Azerbaijan: "Azerbaijani ambassador in Great Britain is also very active in this field. We were a member of the European Union. it was required to make everyone agree in order to make any decision. We also had to convince a big country like France while being in the European Union. This also included the issue regarding Armenia. Now, Great Britain can build more free relations with the world, as well as Azerbaijan".
