“The European Union (EU) will send a monitoring mission to Armenian-Azerbaijani border in a short time,” said EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Joseph Borrell at the press briefing, APA reports.
According to him, the EU’s Foreign Ministers “gave the green light” to send a mission to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“Monitoring mission will be sent in the next weeks. Very quickly. I am proud of how we have worked on this issue in a short period of time. Our participation in the works in the direction of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia proves that we support peace and stability in South Caucasus,” Borrell stated.
