Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has released information on bringing bodies of Azerbaijani citizens, who lost their lives regarding the situation in Ukraine, to Homeland, APA reports.
Head of Press Service of the MFA Leyla Abdullayeva has noted that bodies of Azerbaijani citizens, killed regarding the situation in Ukraine, have been sent to Homeland.
Bodies of five Azerbaijani citizens, who died regarding the situation in Ukraine, as well as Ismayilov Nemat (1975), Ismayilov Rahim (1966), Alizade Azer (1994), Salmanov Jamal (1997), who tried for evacuation at their own initiatives from Odesa in the direction of Moldova and killed as a result of firing in Kuchurgan border crossing by unknown persons using firearms, as well as Mammadov Goshgar (1987), died as a result of fire in Kharkiv, were sent to Romania and Turkiye by passing through Bulgaria by special cars from Chișinău city of Moldova, and then to Azerbaijan by an aircraft on March 14. Bodies of the dead citizens will be brought to Homeland via Istanbul-Baku route of Azerbaijan Airways on March 15 and handed over to their close people," MFA Official stressed.
