“While I was in Azerbaijan last year I reviewed achievements obtained thanks to our joint works. Our diplomatic relations, as well as relations among people were significantly strengthened for 30 years,” US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Erika Olson said in a video message from Washington on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to her, relations between the American and Azerbaijani peoples are the cornerstone of our relationship.
“Last year more than 500 students continued their education in the US. We support opportunities established for expanding of relations among people,” she stressed.
