The impact of social media is so strong that it can even lead to the collapse of governments, Noor Md. Mahbubul Haq, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, said during his speech at the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization Media Forum held in Baku, APA reports.
“To address problems related to information and technology, we must combat false information and disinformation, increase media literacy among users, and use technology to detect suspicious content,” he said.
