The Baku Initiative Group has organized more than 30 international conferences over the past two years, Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, said during the international conference titled “Racism and Violence Against Sikhs and Other National Minorities in India: The Reality on the Ground,” dedicated to the Indian government’s repressive policies against ethnic minorities and organized by the Baku Initiative Group, APA reports.
Abbas Abbasov noted that the BIG has established cooperation with more than 20 countries: “In addition, more than 30 reports and 4 books have been published, and cooperation has been established with more than 25 organizations.”
Abbas Abbasov emphasized that today’s conference does not carry merely symbolic significance, but that justice is being demanded for what has been done to the Sikhs.
