The 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Türkye was held in Baku today, Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
Before the meeting, a one-on-one meeting was held between Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz.
Later, the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission was held under the co-chairmanship of Ali Asadov and Cevdet Yilmaz and with the participation of the leadership of relevant state agencies of both countries.
Ali Asadov conveyed his congratulations to C. Yilmaz on Türkiye's election as the host of COP31, and noted that Azerbaijan is ready to provide comprehensive support to the brotherly country in the process of preparing for the event.
Reports on the issues on the agenda were heard at the meeting by members of the delegations of both countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz signed the Protocol of the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Türkiye and approved a 110-point Action Plan covering relevant areas of bilateral cooperation.

The 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is being held in Baku, APA reports.

At the meeting, the $15 billion trade target set by the presidents of the two countries and the steps to be taken toward facilitating trade will be discussed.
