The 18th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Baku, APA reports.
Elders from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus participated in the meeting.
The meeting, which began with the opening speech of the chairman of the OTS Council of Elders, Turkish elder Binali Yıldırım, included speeches by Azerbaijani elder Hasan Hasanov, Uzbek elder Sodiqjon Turdiev, Kazakh elder Ikram Adirbek, Kyrgyz elder Apas Jumagulov, and elder of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Oktay Öksüzoğlu, as well as OTS Deputy Secretary-General Ömer Kocaman. During the meeting, discussions were held on the issues on the agenda of the Council of Elders.
