A real and special opportunity has emerged for the signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, a special envoy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov said in an interview with the BBC, APA reports.
According to him, because of the local anti-terror operations carried out on September 19-20 last year, Azerbaijan put an end to the existence of the illegal separatist regime in Garabagh.
Elchin Amirbayov emphasized that Azerbaijan and Armenia are closer to peace today than ever before.
