Cooperation documents between the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and ACWAPower, and the Framework Agreement relating to the 200 MW Onshore Wind Power Project between the Ministry of Energy and ACWA Power was signed, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov posted on his X account regarding this, APA-Econmoics reports.
“We had a productive meeting with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, the Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the development of our multilateral energy cooperation and the fair energy transition, which is an important issue of the global agenda, our activities related to COP29. We agreed on the acceleration of the implementation of renewable energy projects, cooperation in the field of oil refining and petro chemical products supply. We evaluated the results of the third meeting of the Joint Technical Committee, which strengthened our energy relations.
We signed cooperation documents that strengthen our green energy partnership - the Implementation Agreement related to 200 MW Battery Energy Storage System Project between the Ministry of Energy and ACWAPower, and the Framework Agreement relating to the 200 MW Onshore Wind Power Project between the Ministry of Energy and ACWA Power,” – Parviz Shahbazov added.
