The delegation led by the Head of the Baku City Executive Authority Eldar Azizov, paid a working visit to China at the invitation of the leadership of the Sichuan province of the People's Republic of China, Press Service of the Baku City Executive Authority told APA.
Within the framework of the visit, the governor of Sichuan province, Huang Qiang, met with the head of the Baku City Executive Authority, Eldar Azizov, and members of the delegation. At the meeting, Governor Huang Qiang said that such a high level and development of Azerbaijan-China relations is the result of the great efforts of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
During the meeting, plans for cooperation between capital cities were discussed. Based on the results of the visit, an agreement was reached on the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two capitals by the delegation of the Beijing mayor's office on an official visit to Baku.
