Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, who is on a working visit to the city of Ashgabat, met today with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

Ali Asadov conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, as well as his congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, to the head of state of that country.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude for President Ilham Aliyev’s greetings and congratulations and asked that his own greetings be conveyed to the President of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan is at a high level, and the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest were discussed.

Note that the Prime Minister will attend the events held in connection with the 30th anniversary of the recognition of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
