"Today, participants of the international conference are already in Aghdam. Here they get acquainted about the atrocities, the facts of the destruction of our cultural heritage and monuments committed by the Armenian Armed Forces," Azerbaijan's Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva, who is visiting Aghdam with the participants of the international conference, told journalists, APA reports.

According to Ombudsman, the conference participants were informed about war crimes by both the Ombudsman and several relevant institutions within two days.

"It is very important that they are here today. Our guests came from places like Europe, Asia, and Africa, that is, the sphere is quite wide. I think that the impression they witnessed with their own eyes is very different.  The Baku Declaration was adopted as a result of this two-day conference. The content of the conference was related to business and human rights.  Several international experts working in these fields also participated in the conference. It is clear that all business activities were restricted in our territories, which were under occupation for 30 years. Today, the main issue that impedes the activities of our former IDPs in these territories is the mine problem. The punishment of Armenia is a different problem. Today, Armenian sabotage groups continue the process of planting mines in our territories,"
