Azerbaijan's MFA: "We will continue our efforts to hold Armenia accountable for its crimes"

"The crimes committed in accordance with the instruction of the military-political leadership of Armenia during 30 years is an irresponsible act of the mentioned country before the international community," said the deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov who is on a visit to the Ganja city, APA reports.

Elnur Mammadov noted that atrocities, genocide, and other crimes committed against Azerbaijani people, and innocent civilians in Khojaly are denied by Armenia so far.

"Armenia's military-political leadership does not take any responsibility for these committed crimes. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has repeatedly called on Armenia to behave responsibly in front of the international community regarding this issue, and we have raised the issue of accepting responsibility for the committed crimes and bringing the guilty persons to justice," said the deputy foreign minister.
