On January 26, 2026, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
A tête-à-tête meeting between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister Gideon Sa’ar was held, and later continued in an expanded format with the participation of delegations from both sides.
During the meetings, the current state and future development prospects of Azerbaijan-Israel relations in the areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the regional situation, were discussed.
A joint press conference was held after the meetings, and the ministers made statements on the results of the meetings.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Israel Gideon Sa’ar held a comprehensive bilateral meeting, APA reports, citing MFA.
The sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation in a wide range of areas, including political dialogue, energy, trade, investments, education, culture, defense and security, and underlined the mutual interest in exploring new avenues for collaboration.
Ministers have also touched upon issues of international and regional importance. They emphasised the importance of contributing to peace, development, and prosperity in their respective regions and beyond.
Both Ministers expressed determination to further deepen the Azerbaijan–Israel partnership.
