Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to our country, Ronen Krausz, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told APA.
Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov warmly greeted Ambassador Ronen Krausz, congratulated him on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to our country, and wished him success in his activities.
Recalling that relations between Azerbaijan and Israel, based on mutual respect and friendship, are constantly expanding, the minister said that in this context, effective cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries in combating emergency situations is successfully continuing.
K. Heydarov provided the ambassador with detailed information on the work carried out to prevent emergencies and eliminate their consequences in Azerbaijan and emphasized that there is good potential for developing relations between the agencies in various directions.
Expressing his gratitude for the cordial meeting and congratulations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to our country, Ronen Krausz, conveyed satisfaction with the level of development of relations between the two countries, including cooperation in combating emergency situations. Ambassador R. Krausz noted the mutual benefit of expanding relations between the relevant agencies responsible for emergency management and said that he would spare no effort in this regard.
A broad exchange of views was held on issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
