Azerbaijan's cooperation with European and Balkan countries in the energy sector discussed

Discussions were also held on Azerbaijan’s cooperation in the energy sector with many European countries, including the Balkans, said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with Ervin Ibrahimović, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, APA reports.

The minister noted that counterparts from Montenegro participated in the Advisory Meetings on the Southern Gas Corridor: “Even Mr. Minister himself participated in those meetings in his previous position. Additionally, today the great potential of the transportation and logistics sector was discussed. Exchange of views were held on new projects in Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics sector. Discussions were also held regarding the Alat Free Economic Zone, Baku Trade Port, and several other areas. There is also great potential for cooperation between our countries in the humanitarian field.”
