Chair of the Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova has met with Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev on the sideline of her working visit to Russian Federation, APA reports.
It was stated at the meeting that both countries are actively cooperating both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations. In particular, the importance of relations within the framework of TURKPA was brought to attention.
During the conversation, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova gave extensive information about the large-scale construction and restoration works carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, and the provocative actions of Armenia aimed at ensuring lasting peace in the region.
