Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited NATO HQ in Brussels, the Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO said in a social media post, APA reports.
Within the framework of the visit to Brussels, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, had a remarkable meeting with the NATO's North Atlantic Council Ambassadors as well as with the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy (PASP), Ambassador Ruge Boris at NATO HQ.
During the meeting, the recent visit of NATO's North Atlantic Council Ambassadors and the meeting with H. E. Ilham Aliyev, was emphasised.
Parties also had an extensive discussion on wide-ranging topics, including successful Azerbaijan–NATO partnership and prospects of cooperation, Azerbaijan's contributions to the Alliance, including to the energy security of Europe, as well as matters related to the regional security and the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agenda.
