Azerbaijani PM met with Georgian Parliament Speaker

On December 15, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, and the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

At the meeting, the successful development of Azerbaijani-Georgian relations in various fields, including political, trade-economic, energy, transport, and cultural-humanitarian directions was stressed.

The significant role of parliaments in the development of Azerbaijani-Georgian relations was highlighted and gratification was expressed with the close contacts of friendship groups in the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on the perspectives of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest. Azerbaijani PM wrote his heartfelt words in the book of Honorary Guests of the Georgian Parliament.
