The Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, paid an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on January 28, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.
The parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Milli Majlis was welcomed at Muscat International Airport by Mohammed bin Salim As-Suleimani, a member of the parliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan of the Shura Majlis of the Sultanate of Oman, members of the Shura Majlis, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Oman Rashad Ismayilov, and other officials.
Sahiba Gafarova is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with the country's officials as part of the visit.
