Speaker of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has sent a letter of condolences to her Georgian counterpart Shalva Papuashvili over the loss of lives as a result of landslide that hit Georgia’s Racha mountainous region, the press and public relations department of the Milli Majlis told APA.
In her letter, the Milli Majlis Speaker on her own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan offered deep condolences to her Georgian counterpart, the families and loved ones of those who were killed, and the friendly people of Georgia, and expressed wishes for the immediate elimination of the severe consequences of the natural disaster.
