"Amount of supply of Azerbaijan's natural gas to Europe is expected to reach 20 billion cubic meters annually," said Azay Guliyev, head of Azerbaijani Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Chairman of the General Committee of the Organization on Economic issues, Science, Technology, and Environment, Chairman of Silk Road Group of the OSCE PA at the conference of Silk Road Support Group, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports.
He noted that the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the European Union and Azerbaijan on July 18, 2022, as well as the opening of the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector, are of great importance in terms of ensuring the energy security of Southeast Europe.
"On the other hand, Azerbaijan is actively promoting the opening of the Zangazur corridor, which has contributed greatly to the development of the "West-East" and "North-South" transport corridors and will be an important part of the Middle Corridor," he stressed.
