“Azerbaijan is a multicultural, multi-confessional country,” said Azerbaijani MP Soltan Mammadov in his speech at the committee meeting of EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly, APA reports.
According to him, the multicultural values that Azerbaijan has are the best guarantee for the reintegration of Armenians: “This history of Azerbaijan that should be proud of, provides the best guarantee for the reintegration of the Armenian ethnic minority as equal citizens of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is in favor of the restoration of all relations with Armenia. This will bring peace and security, at the same time economic benefits to our region. This will turn the region into a bridge among North and South, East and West.”
