Working sessions of the 11th extraordinary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly have been held, APA reports.
Delivering a speech in the first working session, Armenian MPs have noted importance of mutual recognition of territorial integrity for normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. At the same time, they have noted Alma-Ata Declaration is main legal reference in the peace treaty, delimitation and demarcation of borders should make one of main elements of the peace process.
A member of Azerbaijani delegation Soltan Mammadov delivering a speech has noted that in joint statement of President Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Office of Armenian Prime Minister, two countries one more reminded they had confirmed their intentions to achieve peace treaty on basis of normalization of relations, principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Soltan Mammadov has stressed significance of European Union's and Euronest PA's support historical peace opportunity between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
