The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan reaffirms its support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and does not recognize the so-called "parliamentary elections" held in the Abkhazia region of Georgia on March 12, 2022, as well as its results, it has been noted in the statement of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on so-called "parliamentary elections" in Abkhazia region of Georgia, APA reports.
According to the statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan considers it important to continue negotiations for peaceful settlement of Abkhazia issue in compliance with the norms and principles of international law.
