The claim that the Azerbaijani flag was raised in Armenian territory is baseless, the head of the press service Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aykhan Hajizada wrote on Twitter, APA reports.

"Yesterday, at the Lachin BCP, fire was opened on servicemen of 🇦🇿Border Guards, when the Azerbaijani flag was raised in its sovereign territory on the Hakari bridge. This bridge was built by Azerbaijan just recently, and the claim that the flag raised in 🇦🇲’s territory is baseless," noted the MFA spokesman.
