On May 19, 2023, at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, talks were held in Moscow between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan presented their positions on the implementation of the Trilateral Statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russian Federation and Armenia.
The parties continued work on the draft agreement "On establishing peace and interstate relations". There was a constructive exchange of views on the topics on which there are still differences of opinion between the parties.
The ministers expressed their gratitude to the Russian side for organizing negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The parties agreed to continue discussions.
The ministers also held separate meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
