The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a briefing for foreign media at the Association of Accredited Correspondents at the United Nations (ACANU), the Ministry told APA.
Jeyhun Bayramov brought to attention that the provocations of the so-called regime created as a result of the occupation of our [Azerbaijan’s] territories by Armenia, under the name of "elections" holding on September 9 are another blow against the efforts of dialogue with the representative of the Armenian residents.
He noted that in return for the constructive position and steps of Azerbaijan, it has been observed that the Armenian side commits continuous military and political provocations, acts against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan contrary to its obligations, continues mine threats, and conducts a smear campaign against Azerbaijan with baseless claims.
