Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan called for taking appropriate punitive measures against the organizers burning of the Azerbaijani Flag in Yerevan, APA reports.
"We call for strict condemnation of this act, which is a gross violation of the rules of conduct adopted by the International Weightlifting Federation, the International Olympic Committee and other relevant international organizations for sports competitions, and to take appropriate punitive measures against the organizers within the framework of the rules," the Ministry noted.
