It was noted that this act of aggression, which took place on the border of the conditional state, is an element of the chain of military and political provocations committed by Armenia in recent days.
Among such provocations is the gross violation by Armenia of the provisions of the tripartite declarations signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the Russian Federation and the complete withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan, the continuation of the mining of the territories of Azerbaijan and the increase of militarization in the conventional border region, obstructing the opening of transport communications and opposing the peace process, taking destructive steps, not responding to the proposals of the Azerbaijani side to start concrete negotiations on a peace agreement, etc. violations have been brought to attention.
