Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry urges to postpone non-essential visits to France

The Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan has issued a warning regarding the clashes in France, APA reports.

The warning reads:

"In view of the clashes, mass violence by the police, civil disobedience, and the inability of the authorities to take adequate action following the brutal killing of a young person of Algerian origin in France, as well as the further strengthening of racist tendencies, it is recommended that citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan refrain from traveling to the French Republic unless necessary. Those who do travel are advised to exercise extreme caution.

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who are currently in France are requested to follow safety and security rules.

For consular and other applications, our residents in France should contact the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in France via the following methods:
