“Cooperation in the field of energy was discussed at the meeting of presidents of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan in December. Cooperation will be made in the export of Turkmen gas to the international market,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference on the finals of 2022, APA reports.
He stressed that this cooperation has a number of elements.
“Azerbaijan has been an initiator and participant in a number of projects in the energy field. And if we are talking about Turkmen gas, Azerbaijan plays a transit country role in this regard. The working group will determine what tasks fall on which country. The state of Azerbaijan has a positive attitude and supports this project," said Jeyhun Bayramov.
