"One of the gravest crimes-the Khojaly genocide- occurred  30 years ago during the Armenian military aggression against Azerbaijan, In one night, 613 civilians were brutally killed. The only reason was that they were Azerbaijanis," Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, APA reports.

Jeyhun Bayramov said that it was a clear appearance of the racist policy pursued by Armenia. The act was proved as genocide during the investigation of the crime: “The European Court identified this act as a crime against humanity and assessed it as an event leading to very serious consequences. "Unfortunately, the perpetrators of the Khojaly crime have not yet been brought to justice."

The Foreign Minister noted that during the 44-day war, Armenia fired on Azerbaijani cities outside the front line: “As a result, more than 500 civilians were killed and wounded, the reason of which was that the perpetrators of the Khojaly genocide went unpunished.
