"Azerbaijan is also resolute to re-integrate its citizens of Armenian origin residing in post-conflict territories, guaranteeing the same rights and freedoms with all the citizens of Azerbaijan," said Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov in the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European Union Eastern Partnership, APA reports.
"The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan provides the solid legal framework in this regard. Increased dialogue and contacts between central Azerbaijani authorities and local ethnic Armenian residents aim at ensuring peaceful co-existence and needs to be encouraged and sustained," he said.
