Azerbaijani FM meets with the delegation of the US Chamber of Commerce

On February 10, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received a delegation headed by Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President, International Member Relations and Senior Vice President, Middle East and Türkiye at the US Chamber of Commerce, MFA told APA.

The delegation includes executives and representatives of 31 companies.

During the meeting, the steps taken toward establishing a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States were discussed, along with the current state of bilateral cooperation, plans, and prospects for expanding cooperation with the U.S. private sector. The discussions covered cooperation in energy, trade, transport, logistics, regional connectivity including the TRIPP route, as well as economic investment in a number of key areas.

The bilateral contacts and discussions held separately in the mentioned areas toward the preparation of the Strategic Partnership Charter, following the Washington Peace Summit on August 8 of last year were highly appreciated, and it was emphasized that the Charter to be signed would give additional impetus to relations.

In addition, views were exchanged at the meeting on Azerbaijan’s important role in the region’s energy security, the significance of the development of renewable energy resources, diversification of trade routes along the Middle Corridor, the favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan and opportunities for establishing new connections, as well as other topics of mutual interest.
