On March 11, 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has met with OSCE Secretary-General Helga Schmid on the sidelines of his working visit to the Republic of Turkiye, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
The sides have conducted an exchange of views on different aspects of bilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the OSCE, recovery, reconstruction, and reintegration processes in liberated territories, as well as the latest processes in the region during the meeting.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has informed his interlocutor about works done in the territories liberated from occupation in the field of especially ecology and environmental protection within the framework of reconstruction works, conducted by Azerbaijan. Foreign Minister has also spoken about steps, taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of implementation of trilateral statements.
At the same time, issues around the OSCE’s possible participation in reconstruction and reintegration processes, realized in post-conflict period, have been discussed.
The sides have discussed other mutually-interested regional and global issues at the meeting.
