“High-level political dialogue exists between our countries,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference on the finals of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Turkmenistan Summit, APA reports.
According to the minister, our relations have raised to the level of a strategic alliance by the signing of the historical Shusha Declaration between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in 2021: “At the same time, our relations with Turkmenistan are also at the level of strategic partnership. Today, there is mutually beneficial cooperation between the 3 countries at the UN, various agencies of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Turkic States and a number of international platforms. We have had extensive discussions in this area. We will continue our work in this direction from now on.”
The minister brought to the attention that Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan tripartite format has larger potential: “We can express with full confidence that the 5 documents signed today and the joint statement adopted will give a great impetus to the further development of our cooperation in the economic field.”
