“We held a very fruitful meeting today,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
The minister reminded that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia: “We had wide-ranging, multifaceted conversations about the results of this year. The documents signed between our countries were developed at a high level and we will witness the realization of several documents next year.”
Azerbaijani FM noted that today, the third round of negotiations for the signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia was supposed to be held.
“We also held conversations on the North-Southern project today, which consists of several components. First of all, this includes transport and railway. At the same time, we held talks on expanding the opportunities of this project, transferring electrical energy and humanitarian topics,” added Azerbaijani FM.
