"Today's event is important for the discussion of cooperation issues between our countries," Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during his video speech at the opening ceremony of the 9th Meeting of the National Comissions for UNESCO member countries of the TURKSOY jointly organized by the National Comission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), University of ADA, and the Institute of the Development and Diplomacy of the University, APA reports.
"Azerbaijan has always supported the missions of UNESCO. The national comission of our country for UNESCO worked in a joint form in all research works. Azerbaijan has a very important place in the world in terms of intercultural unity. Our country is constantly cooperating with UNESCO in terms of education, culture and other fields," Minister noted.
