Azerbaijani FM and OSCE Chairman-in-Office discussed ceasefire in Ukraine

Bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as relations within the OSCE have been discussed at today's meeting, Azerbaijan's foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the press conference with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Poland's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Zbigniew Rau, APA reports.

The Foreign Minister said that Azerbaijan pays attention to the development of relations with Poland, cooperation is developing at the level of strategic partnership: “This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. High-level visits have been made over the years.

The first meeting of the strategic dialogue has been held in Warsaw in February this year.

At the same time, a meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held in the second half of 2022".

The Minister noted that Poland's chairmanship in the OSCE coincides with a difficult time: "We discussed the incidents in and around Ukraine, the achievement of a ceasefire and how to achieve a political-diplomatic solution to the conflict. At the same time, we exchanged views on how we can help people affected by the humanitarian crisis".
