“We hope that the problems that hinder the faster implementation of joint projects between the two countries will be resolved and these projects will be completed accurately,” Sanai said.
The Iranian official stressed the importance of deepening Iran's relations with neighboring countries, especially Azerbaijan, in accordance with the instructions of President Masoud Pezeshkian.
According to him, progress has been made in relations after the Iranian President's visit to Baku, but some issues still remain.
Khalaf Khalafov expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Tehran and spoke about the existence of deep cultural and historical roots between our countries.
He noted that, as a result of the will of the heads of state, organizations in Azerbaijan and Iran are trying to remove obstacles to expand comprehensive relations.
"Agreements such as holding a meeting of the joint commission, increasing the number of flights, launching the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran, and opening the Baku-Tabriz flight have been implemented. We are working on the implementation of the remaining agreements through mutual cooperation and the removal of existing obstacles," Khalaf Khalafov emphasized.
