A delegation led by Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov has today headed to Tashkent on the invitation of his Uzbek counterpart, CEC Media and Communication Department told APA.
The visit to Uzbekistan aims to hold Chairman Mazahir Panahov’s meeting with his Uzbek counterpart and to observe as an international observer the snap presidential election to be held in this country on July 9, 2023.
As part of the visit, chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan will also meet with heads of the organizations participating in monitoring of elections in Uzbekistan and election management bodies of foreign countries.
