On December 10, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramil Usubov, met with Viktor Mahmudov, Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Security Council’s press service told APA.
It was noted that in the modern era, when conflicts, military-political challenges, and threats are increasing around the world, the importance of cooperation and joint efforts, as well as the development of strategic partnership and effective cooperation in various fields between the two brotherly countries, in accordance with the political will of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was emphasized.
During the conversation, confidence was expressed that the further strengthening and expansion of relations in the military and military-technical spheres, including mutual exchange of experience, will open new opportunities not only for ensuring stability and security in the South Caucasus but also throughout Central Asia.
