Azerbaijani and Russian FMs discussed implementation of trilateral statements

On February 16, the Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, the press service of Azerbaijani MFA told APA.

The ministers discussed topical issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda.

Taking into account that this year will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the sides exchanged views on measures to be taken in this regard.

The ministers discussed the situation in the region, including the implementation of trilateral statements.

The sides also exchanged views on the current situation around Ukraine.

During the telephone conversation, as well as within the framework of Azerbaijan's chairmanship in the OSCE Forum on Security Cooperation, cooperation was discussed.
