On October 15, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a phone conversation, said the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.
In continuation of the meeting of the two states' leaders held in Astana, the ministers exchanged views on a number of issues, including topical issues of the bilateral agenda.
The parties also discussed the current situation in the region.
Cooperation on the sidelines of international organizations, as well as other issues of mutual interest, were discussed during the telephone conversation.
