On October 31, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili within the framework of his working visit to the city of Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan, MFA told APA.
During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views was held on the prospects for the development of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the political, security, economic and transport, humanitarian directions, as well as on current issues on the regional agenda.
Satisfaction was expressed with the high level of the existing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, and it was noted that the active political dialogue and regional platforms formed between the two countries constitute a solid foundation for relations.
The ministers noted the importance of joint efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
The meeting also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
