During 2022, measures are being taken on the complaints of the Azerbaijani side against Armenia at the International Court of Justice and the ECHR, and this is continuing, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said at the year-end press conference, APA reports.
According to him, at the same time, this month, Azerbaijan submitted a new interstate complaint against Armenia regarding the burning and destruction of hundreds of residences when Armenia left the city of Lachin and two neighboring villages in May August 2022 and demanded compensation for the damage.
"These processes have their own characteristics. From the beginning of 2023, we will make new claims against Armenia because of the damage caused to the environment and living nature, as well as the illegal exploitation of energy resources and natural resources," the minister stressed.
